My husband and I plus our two dogs have lived here for nearly a year now and it's been great! We had to move in quickly due to an issue with our prior apartment, and the process was incredibly fast and straightforward. The property manager Megan is a gem! She was super kind and welcoming during move in, and has been great since. The people who manage your rentals can definitely make or break your experience, so she is a huge bonus.

The walls are not paper thin as other places we've lived, and we can almost never hear a peep from our neighbors. The complex as a whole is quite quiet and peaceful the vast majority of the time. I absolutely love having an open back area with grass, trees, and critters to enjoy. Everything seems well taken care of and maintenance is fast and helpful. Also a huge bonus that the only utility we have to pay is electric! Makes things simple each month. The included internet and cable/streaming are a great perk.

It is expensive, but what isn't here? At least you get a lot for your money and are in a peaceful, safe, conveniently located community. I think the only thing that could use an upgrade would be the laundry room, the units are quite small and expensive, and I don't recall seeing a way you'd be able to wash larger things like bedding. We ended up just purchasing a washer and dryer instead since we have the hookups for them. A bit more of an expense but definitely worth it!

Overall we've really enjoyed our time here and have no plans to leave anytime soon. Really can't beat the location and ease of living here.

I've lived here since March of 2024 and have only good things to say! Megan the property manager is wonderful: personable, professional, and very down to earth. Sturbridge Meadows features a beautiful well-maintained landscape. It is generally very quiet, and I barely ever hear any noise from my neighbors. Everything is included in the cost of rent (including free high speed internet which is a HUGE plus) other than electricity. The only complaint I have is that the electric bill tends to surge during the winter months due to electric heat, but that's not really Sturbridge Meadows' fault. During late spring - mid fall, the electric bill is generally pretty low, even with ACs running normally.

Maintenance is on-site and are quick to respond to any tickets put in. Our unit's water heater was tampered with by previous tenants and it stopped working. They replaced the entire thing free of charge within 24 hours!

I will also say that Sturbridge Meadows encourages you to truly treat your apartment like your own home. You are free to fasten hangers to the wall, plant your own plants, and even paint the walls (although you do have to paint them back to their original color before your lease is up, or pay to have that done for you).

Finally, Sturbridge Meadows is located a stones throw away from the Pike / 84. This makes it a great option for people who have to commute to work in the Greater Boston area, Springfield, and even in Connecticut! There is also a large shopping center less than 5 minutes away with a Walmart, Stop and Shop, movie theater, as well as clothing stores, a pet store, and two restaurants!

The unit we moved into had just been renovated & we like the add’l amenities in addition to the bright & airy interior. The other residents are mostly friendly, some keep more to themselves. People do well cleaning up after their dogs outside. There’s a newer property manager on site, Megan, who’s friendly & very responsive. We’re enjoying living here!

The apartment complex is absolutely amazing! Best rental I have ever lived in. Sean, the Property Manager, is extremely helpful, understanding, and just all around a genuinely good guy. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. I truly loved my time at Sturbridge Meadows.
