I’m currently living at The Heights, and I’ve had a great experience so far. Before moving in, I was worried about bugs, but I haven’t had any problems at all. All the windows have screens, which is very helpful.

If possible, I recommend choosing an apartment on a higher floor. The view is beautiful, with lots of greenery outside the windows. The management and maintenance team is also the best I’ve encountered. They are very friendly, and maintenance requests are handled very quickly.

Overall, The Heights is a great place to live, especially if you enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment. I’m very happy with my choice!

CONS: interestingly enough, heaters must be always on, you can’t control them. 90 Fahrenheit, sun is shining, heaters on 24/7 non stop. been like that since august 1st. hard to appreciate this. embarrassing. not to mention A/C, non existent, super loud and barely working. laundry card credit machine eats up your cash, been unable to do laundry for 4/5 days as manager was not available. not too close to most groceries. Received aggressive email threatening to call the police / kick me out were I to smoke marijuana again in the building (I had not and have never smoked in the house) and play loud music after 22:00 (never played loud music especially after 22:00)

PROS: position is ok for cornell, price is not too high, some flats have a good view, there’s a whole community living nearby (maplewood) and within the building itself, quiet, spacious flats. good post delivery mgmt (for now), building mgmt staff replies quickly and its generally available (besides when they threaten their tenants for no reason)

Ms. MiJin Decker was professional and friendly. We are grateful to her for kindly giving us a generous tour of the apartment and the townhouse units.
