CONS: interestingly enough, heaters must be always on, you can’t control them. 90 Fahrenheit, sun is shining, heaters on 24/7 non stop. been like that since august 1st. hard to appreciate this. embarrassing. not to mention A/C, non existent, super loud and barely working. laundry card credit machine eats up your cash, been unable to do laundry for 4/5 days as manager was not available. not too close to most groceries. Received aggressive email threatening to call the police / kick me out were I to smoke marijuana again in the building (I had not and have never smoked in the house) and play loud music after 22:00 (never played loud music especially after 22:00)

PROS: position is ok for cornell, price is not too high, some flats have a good view, there’s a whole community living nearby (maplewood) and within the building itself, quiet, spacious flats. good post delivery mgmt (for now), building mgmt staff replies quickly and its generally available (besides when they threaten their tenants for no reason)

We’ve lived in the townhouse. Our experience in Fairview is nothing but wonderful. The management team is so friendly and very easy to talk to. Elizabeth, Mi Jin, and Abby responded to my email so quickly. Joe handled our requests promptly with great quality. They helped me in a great deal to navigate the life and community here.

The location is unbeatable, 15-minutes walking to Cornell campus. Close to the dairy bar and Schoellkopf field. The apartment has furnitures and pays all utilities, making the stay so easy. The courtyard view is breathtaking during the change of seasons and sunset. Thank you Fairview for making our time in Ithaca so warm and welcoming.
